The Drunk

That’s the English translation of “El Borracho,” which is also the name of the Mexican cantina that Pat Shannon recently opened on Locust. You have to see the inside of this place to really appreciate it. To say it is whimsical would be a gross understatement.

Grand Piano

Daniel is a nursing student who, sometimes, late in the evening after everyone’s gone home but the night security guard, sits down at the grand piano in the college’s giant atrium and plays. When asked to perform, he is dismissive, almost embarrassed, of his talent.
